Have you ever noticed that some of the people you used to see at Mass all the time are not at Mass any more? Some have become ill and are homebound. Others may be in nursing or senior healthcare facilities.
If you know someone who would like to receive the Eucharist and can no longer attend Mass, please let the parish know. Also, if you are willing to bring Eucharist to that person you know and/or to others as well, please contact Martha Corkery and she can help you to become an Extraordinary Minister so you can become part of the ministry. As Jesus said, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest."
If God speaks to you to join this ministry, please complete the following forms and submit them to Martha Corkery at the parish office at St. Charles. You need only return Appendix B of the Code of Ethics indicating you have read the full document. You will also be required to complete a Protecting God's Children session. You sign up for those sessions on Virtus. They are offered in person at parishes around the diocese a swell as on Zoom.
